Event Details

Meet Award-winning Chef Bernard Guillas at EAT Marketplace on Saturday, July 28, 2012.  Chef Guillas is from The Marine Room, in La Jolla, CA.  He will be showcasing his book “Flying Pans: Two Chefs-One World,” and demonstrating the use of tomatoes as he features his signature dish “Seafood Summer Gazpacho.”

Flying Pans is co-authored with Chef de Cuisine of the Marine Room, Ron Oliver.  Flying Pans was awarded two IACP book of the year awards in the categories of Chefs and Restaurants and the coveted People’s Choice.  The cookbook was also named as IACP top three finalist in the category of Food Styling and Photography.  Flying Pans was awarded top 10 Cookbook in America at Book Expo America in 2010.

20% of ticket sales will go to SLOW FOOD TV


Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy food, receive a signed book and learn about tomato cooking.

She is the founding member and current president of Slow Food-Temecula Valley, American Delegate, representing Riverside County: Terra Madre/ Salon Del Gusto 2006 and 2010 Turin, Italy, and Chef Judge/ Host: RCC Culinary Academy Chefs Du Potager, to name a few.
